We have today been advised by the Swedish Research Council that our application for Funding of research infrastructure of national interest has been rejected. The application concerned an amount of MSEK 90 for the coordination of existing competencies and skills to form a joint national research infrastructure for clinical and experimental research using large animal models.

As a part of this work they would like to learn more about the current processes for research data management and open access to research data from the perspective of researchers in Sweden.

The Swedish Research Council and Formas expect that funded projects establish plans for research data management, and that the resulting research articles are published open access. The library helps straightening out the dos and don'ts when fulfilling funders expectations for open science.
